Thanks for a great season

It is always strange when the season comes to an end. It is such a wild and crazy beast for so much of the year that when it's time to dim the lights, we do so with heavy hearts.
A huge thank you goes out to all who supported us over this season. With our brand new team, the learning curve was steep and a well deserved rest awaits us all. Stay tuned, however, as the rest never lasts long; before you know it, we'll be right back it at!!

And another tournament comes to an end.

For us this year, it has been all about building a solid foundation for the years to come. This meant starting at the bottom and building upwards: a strong team with strong improv skills who believed in themselves and all they had to offer. Most importantly, a team who truly understood that the best part of improv is the joy it provides for its players and its audience.

After a most wild and crazy first tournament, I'd say, with absolute pride, ...mission accomplished.

CHANGE OF PLANS

Yes, the Sears show is at 7:30pm on Thursday night. No, we are not opening for them. Work, hockey, and some needed rest has taken priority.
HOWEVER....we will be on the stage, to open for the show, at 7:30pm on Friday!!

The final two weeks are upon us...

Thanks to everyone who came out to Mustangs last Sunday morning for breakfast. It was a great turnout and we all appreciate your support so much.
Next up is this Thurs. Feb 23 and Fri. Feb 24 - 7:30 in the GSS Aud - as we open for the Sears show. We are very excited and know that the entire night will be a great one. Come on out - there will most definitely be laughter. There's also a rumour that some "old" faces might be lingering around:)

Time to blog it ... so much has happened

Well, we are more than up and running. The 2012 team is well on its way to tournament readiness, which is a good thing as we are down to 6 weeks. Since late October we've been building like crazy and are now we are staring down the events, trying to find what "fits" and feels "right". On Dec 8th we performed for an audience for the first time - at a Tri-City XNight in Erin - what a start it was. A "wild" team I believe we were called. We'll head off to London for our second XNight on Feb 15th and are confident that they growth we've felt will show.
There's lots coming up - performances here at GSS, a breakfast fundraiser, a whole wack of pics, as well as tournament fun...stay tuned. The blog is back.
